Queen Elizabeth II

It is with deep sorrow that all the staff and members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club and Experience Freedom have received the news of Her Majesty the Queen passing.

Our thoughts are with the members of the Royal Family and all of those who were close to her. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip played an important role in the history of the Caravan and Motorhome Club and will always hold a place within our hearts.

An article was written about Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip in the September 1973 edition of En Route, the predecessor magazine to the Club's current Caravan and Motorhome Club Magazine. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, who was then Patron of the Club had visited our Yellowcraig campsite in Scotland. Here they enjoyed an extensive tour of the Club campsite, and met a number of the Caravan and Motorhome Club members. We hope everyone will enjoy this historic read.
