Situated in the Scottish highland countryside, six miles from the beautiful city of Inverness and the Moray Firth waters; our site is the perfect stop for both city hoppers and outdoor explorers.

Must see locations include Loch Ness, dolphin spotting off Moray Firth and Black Isle. We’re a stone’s through away from the historic monuments of Culloden Battlefields and the Clava Cairns.

By day you can explore some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery and by night you can indulge in a local whisky besides a roaring fireplace.

Activities & experiences nearby

Guests recommend visiting Nairn beach for peaceful walks beside the white, soft sand.

For a lovely riverside walk, start by the Ness River in Inverness city centre and head toward Loch Ness and into the countryside; or drive to Loch Ness and enjoy exploring the area on foot, around the water and into the neighbouring hills.

Come and see the world’s most northerly population of Bottlenose Dolphins on a dolphin spotting boat ride on Moray Firth.

Take a trip to Ship Space, a maritime museum with large model ships such as Titanic and submarines. You can visit for free.

Visit the home of Singleton Whisky on a Glen Ord Distillery tour. Walk around the exhibition and taste the whisky for yourself.

Snuggle up by the fireplace for a light bite and coffee at The Cawdor Inn, only seven miles from site.

For hearty British classics check out The Snow Goose Inn which oozes rural charm and rustic character. Then there’s The Malt Rooms, Inverness' first whisky bar or visit the steampunk inspired cocktails & kitchen restaurant the Scotch and Rye.

If the sun is out, grab a bucket and spade and head to the sandy beach at beach at Nairn, just a 20 minute drive away.

Whin Park in Inverness is 10 miles from site. Admission to the play area is free and you can hire out rowing and paddle boats on the lake.

For a touch of history, Culloden Battlefields has a visitor centre containing many artefacts and tells a moving story of the Jacobites’ final stand against the Duke of Cumberland's government troops in 1745.

A little further afield is Rothiemurchus - 30 miles from site in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. They have a Treezone Arial Adventure, bike hire, self-guided walks and pony trekking and also run outdoor activities including quadbike treks, clay target shooting, wildlife photography, Segways and more.
