Why stay here

Sheltered by the natural limestone walls of a shallow valley and surrounded by the spectacular Peak District National Park is our site at Buxton. It’s the perfect place for that outdoors experience and to see jaw-dropping views of the countryside. Here you can walk or cycle across rugged ground, explore woodland trails and wander along the riverbank.

Our site is divided up by trees and mature hedges so your surroundings will feel secluded with a relaxed atmosphere. If you need to break away for shops, restaurants and culture, we’re only within a 30 minute walk from Buxton’s lovely spa town.

Family days out

Poole’s Cavern and Buxton Country Park is the nearest of several caves you can visit. Wander into its depths to see the crystal stalactites and water-carved limestone.

At Buxton Pavilion Gardens there’s a lake, miniature railway, play area and restaurant which is an enjoyable day out, especially when there’s ice-cream! The National Trust grounds at Lyme Park offer an alternative to the Pavilion Gardens and have several scenic walking trails.

If the weather takes a turn, you could explore the fortified Tudor manor house Haddon Hall . Alternatively, a 45 minute drive west is Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre home to the Lovell Radio Telescope as well as interactive exhibits about space and our solar system.

Walking

The Peak District is the place to be as there are many cross country and circular routes to choose from. We are beside Solomon’s Temple where you can stop to take in the beautiful view before carrying on in to Buxton and over the moors to Axe Edge.

Buxton Karting - whizz around an open air track in a go-kart. It’s great for kids and grown-ups.
