Only a few minutes from a beautiful stretch of beach, this site at the bottom of a hill is flanked by trees on one side, the other side offering views across rolling Pembrokeshire fields.

Our campsite is located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, offering fantastic walks along the coastal path with its magnificent cliff top views.

Take a walk along the beach, cycle along the clifftops, or take a boat trip to explore the surrounding area.

Family days out

Enjoy a day of adventure at Folly Farm in Kilgetty, around a 30 minute drive from our site. Folly Farm offers a zoo, barn, adventure play area and vintage fairground for you to enjoy. There is a daily timetable of events, such as zoo talks and animals feeds, to ensure you get the most out of your visit.

Have a monster day out at Tenby Dinosaur Park! The park has trails, rides & attractions, an indoor playground, café and much more. New attractions involve skiddy cars – a mix of go kart racing and skiing!

Cycling

The nearest National Cycle Network Route is Route 4, Celtic Trail West. Follow coastal paths and riverside trails as you discover West Wales - great for experienced cyclists looking for a challenging route.

Cycle from St Govan’s Head to Stack Rocks for a family friendly route along the cliff tops, taking in the 2000 year old Iron Age forts along the way.


Walking

Follow the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which runs just outside our site, around the southern coast.

Take a stroll along to Swanlake Bay over the clifftops or discover the diverse Pembrokeshire wildlife on the way to Barafundale Bay, which is only accessible by foot.


Things to try

Freshwater East has a history dating back to the Iron Ages – spend a day exploring the many castles and fortresses in the area. Check out Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII; discover the 2000 year history of Carew Castle and Tidal Mill; or explore the dungeons and gardens of Manorbier Castle.

Head to Tenby and travel to Caldey Island by boat, discovering the wildlife in the surrounding waters. Choose from a seal safari, island or a sunset cruise.

For those of you wanting a real adventure, visit Ireland! You can travel from Pembroke Dock, just 20 minutes from our site.


Pubs and restaurants

Nestled along the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast-line, The Longhouse offers quality, freshly cooked, pub grub, along with equipment hire for kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, wetsuits and push bikes.

Visit Beach Break Tearooms in Monorbier for fantastic cakes, breakfasts, lunch and brunch with generous portions. The Tearoom also sells a selection of beers and wines.

For a lazy Sunday lunch, visit Waves Cliff-Top Bar and Restaurant, which offers an Italian inspired menu with rustic home-made pizzas and a range of daily specials.
