You’ll stay approximately 600 metres off the sandy beaches of Cromer, where you can take in the fresh, salty air and explore Norfolk’s coastal countryside. Seacroft has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant so you can choose to relax on site or head out on a new adventure.

   

Family days out

Enjoy a live show from Cromer Pier. This beautiful Victorian building is a 20 minute walk along the seafront where you could see anything from live music to comedy and ballets.

Norwich city is less than an hour’s drive away and is full of quirky shops, restaurants and theatres to visit. If you don’t want to drive, there’s a bus stop just outside. 

20 miles south east is BeWILDerwood; a magical adventure forest filled with treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges, crocklebogs, boat trips, marsh walks and really yummy food.

Follow the coast west for 13 miles and you’ll reach Morston Quay, where local tour guides run seal boat trips to watch common and grey seals at Blakeney Point.

Activities & experiences nearby


Cycling

The Norfolk Coast Partnership suggests off-road routes and quiet lanes that take you through nearby farmsteads and woodland, such as Felbrigg Park and Roman Camp. There are no official routes directly from site as we’re next to busy, narrow roads.

Hire a bike from Electrifying Bikes or Green Powered Bicycles to make exploring the area effortless.


Walking

Enjoy a coastal walk along Cromer’s sandy beaches, towards the pier. Continue past the pier to Cromer Lighthouse, where you can join the five mile circular walk – Look out for the 236 steps from the beach to the cliff top.


Things to try

Try out some of these awesome activities in and around Cromer…

Take to the water down on Cromer Beach and give surfing or paddle boarding a try. Glide Surf School are there to give you lessons.

Just two miles from us is KartTrak Cromer, an outdoor go-karting track that’s suitable for all ages and abilities.

For something a little more creative, come by Sticky Earth Café where you can have a go at pottery painting.

Visitor’s recommendations:

Our on-site restaurant serves freshly cooked meals for the whole family but if you are heading out, the Red Lion in Cromer serves traditional dishes using locally sourced produce.

A seaside holiday is not complete without some classic fish and chips and No1 Cromer is the place to go. You’ll find their restaurant overlooking the pier in Cromer.
